Mission-driven company (Société à mission)

Tek Arena is a société à mission within the meaning of articles L210-10 and following of the French Commercial Code, introduced by the PACTE Act of 22 May 2019. Its statutory raison d'être, as registered in its articles of association, is the following:

« Mettre la technologie au service d'une pratique sportive accessible, inclusive et motivante pour les jeunes. » Unofficial English translation: "Harnessing technology for a sports practice that is accessible, inclusive, and motivating for young people."

2. Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Tek Arena collects and processes personal data of visitors to www.tekarena.io, in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act.

Data Protection Officer (DPO)

No DPO has been appointed, as Tek Arena is not subject to this requirement. For any question regarding your data, please use the contact form.

Data collected and purposes

• Contact form — Data: name (optional), email address, message content. Purpose: respond to your inquiry. Legal basis: legitimate interest of the data controller.
• Newsletter subscription form — Data: name (optional), email address. Purpose: send you updates about Tek Arena. Legal basis: consent (dedicated checkbox).
• Audience measurement — Data: anonymous browsing statistics (page views, referrer, device type), with no cookies and no personal identifiers. Purpose: measure site audience. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
• Technical data — Data: IP address, browser type, timestamps. Purpose: ensure the security of the service (abuse detection, debugging, access protection). Legal basis: legitimate interest. Retention: limited duration.

• Formspree, Inc. (United States) — receives and routes form submissions.
• Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd (European Union, West Europe region) — hosts the site and related services via Azure.
• Umami Software, Inc. (Umami Cloud service, EU region) — cookieless audience measurement.

Transfers outside the European Union

Data submitted via the form may be processed by Formspree, Inc. in the United States. This transfer is governed by the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission and, where applicable, by the Data Privacy Framework.

Retention periods

• Emails received via the forms: 3 years from the last contact.
• Audience measurement statistics: 13 months maximum (per CNIL guidance).
• Technical security data: limited duration, strictly necessary for the purpose.

Tek Arena does not use advertising or profiling cookies. No consent banner is displayed because no tracker requiring consent is placed on your device.

Tools used

• Umami Cloud — audience measurement configured in cookieless mode. No cookies are placed, and no personal identifier is collected. In line with CNIL guidance, this use does not require prior consent.
• Formspree — may set temporary functional cookies when a form is submitted, solely for security purposes (anti-spam, session).
